I really can't understand why the Straits Times like to reiterate the fact that they are Singapore's no. 1 newspaper. It's redundant, isn't it, when they are Singapore's only newspaper?

And on Forum (H16), long-waited reply to a query of whether Mediacorp production "Up Close" is guilty of breaching the Films Act. Why am I not surprise that the authority would say that it doesn't breach the Films Act? They set the law, they can say whatever they want, like how you won't question Jesus the way he practised Christianity. What's laughable is how they insist that the programme is a non-partisan discussion with ministers and invited guests about policy issues and their portfolios. How can policy issues ever be non-partisan? Do we look like idiots to them?
